JUDGE SELECTION & QUALIFICATION CRITERIA:

To qualify as a Judge, one must meet the minimum criteria for each classification, have an application reviewed and approved by a Certified Lead Judge, and attend a pre-judging seminar conducted by the Lead Judge. Following the seminar, the now “qualified” judge will judge a competition under the supervision of the Lead Judge. After the judging is completed, the Lead Judge will approve or disapprove the Judge’s performance and forward the application and Judge’s Review to the NICA Judging Chairman. After three approved reviews, the Judge will become certified as a Lead Judge. After three disapproved reviews, a Judge may be disqualified from future judging.
